Chinese electronics maker Xiaomi on Wednesday entered India’s home appliance market by launching its ‘MI Air Purifier 2’ in the country at a starting price of Rs.9,999. The replacement filter for the air purifier, which should ideally be changed within six months, will cost Rs. 2,499 per unit. It will go on sale on September 26 through the company’s website.
Another product for MI lovers. Xiaomi on Wednesday launched its fitness tracker ‘MI 2 Band’ in India at Rs. 1,999. The band features OLED display that shows users the time, steps taken and heart rate. It is water resistant and claims to last for 20 days on a single charge. It will be available in the country on September 27 through Xiaomi’s website.
