Sakshi Malik who won the Bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She has recently admitted that she will be getting married to a fellow wrestler.
Sakshi Malik is getting married to fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian. According to reports, they had agreed to marry even before Sakshi had left for Rio to compete in the Olympics.
Both Sakshi and Satyawart are from Rohtak and come from wrestling families. Satyawart’s father is an Arjuna Awardee and taught Satyawart to wrestle in his own akhada in Rohtak. Satyawan is no stranger to international glory. He won the silver medal at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, 2014 and also the bronze medal at the Asian Championships the same year.He competes in the 97 kg category and is a very big man.
