Sakshi Malik made all Indians proud by winning the bronze medal at Rio Olympics this year. She won all hearts with her win in wrestling but when the news broke out that she was dating a fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian, many hearts were broken.
Satyawrat is also a wrestler and has made the nation proud by winning the bronze medal at the 2010 Youth Olympics. The two were said to have fallen in love during wrestling tournaments.
“It was a private function. Only the families of the to-be bride and groom attended the event and it went very well,” Satyawart’s father Arjuna Awardee Satyavan Pehelwan said.
