Deep-level hydration mask
For a radiant look, pamper yourself the night before with a home-made face mask made of honey, oats and milk. It’s good enough to it, we know, but resist the temptation and your skin will thank you!
Mix 1 tbsp honey, one 1 tbsp milk and 2 or 3 tbsp of oats. Put the paste onto your face, wait for 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Apply your regular moisturiser for extra supple skin!
Bloating be gone
It’d be weird to be bloated on this special day. To avoid this why not take some measures the day(s) before?
Opt for lean protein meals, like fish and chicken. Choose fruit like berries and apples and drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep you hydrated and free from water retention.
Don’t have a one-large-meal day, but spread symmetrically five small portion meals in your day to prevent bloating.
Get moving
Even if you’re not a fitness junkie, you can feel more energetic by taking a brisk walk or run the or week before.
If you’re not a fan, why not dance some calories off to your favorite tunes? Toning up doesn’t have to be boring! Don’t over do it though, you don’t want to have sore muscles on Valentine’s.
Sleep well
Especially is you’re a night owl or a caffeine-holic try getting enough sleep the previous days so that your body will be fully rested and restored. Reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake as well, for a fresh face and body!
Eat dinner an hour earlier than usual and hit the sack an hour earlier to make up for lost sleep!
