Neerja Bhanot was not only a flight attendant, but also a model. During her modelling days, Neerja had starred in many commercials, and one of them was the “Amul Chocolate” ad.
Neerja Bhanot was the senior flight purser on the Pan Am Flight 73 which was hijacked by four armed men on 5 September 1986. She was murdered while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked plane.
