A 65-year-old man passed away while watching Hollywood horror flick ‘The Conjuring 2’ at a cinema hall in Tiruvannamalai town in Tamil Nadu. The deceased was a native of Andhra Pradesh and was accompanied to the theatre by another man when the tragedy occurred.
The duo had gone to Sri Balasubramaniar Cinemas to watch the horror movie, the Times of India reported, citing police. The elderly man suffered a chest pain and fainted towards the climax of the film.
He was rushed to Old Government Hospital, where he was declared dead. The hospital staff asked the other man to take the 65-year-old’s body to Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
But, the deceased man’s companion took away the body and was not located since then.
However, according to a report, the man who accompanied the deceased hired an auto rickshaw and took the body to the place where both were staying. Authorities are currently searching for the dead man’s identity and address.
