The disappointed mother of Nirbhaya, on Friday urged the politicians to “wake up” and work towards changing the Juvenile Justice Act, so that future instances of such incidents can be prevented.
Asha Devi told TIMES NOW, “I want to tell the politicians to open their eyes and start doing something for the young girls who are subjected to such heinous crimes.”
“Crime has won, we have lost. We have lost a three-year long battle,” Nibhaya’s mother said.
