Dining under water is an experience which leaves a person spellbound. It is something which is popular in many cities around the world. Ahmedabad bocomes the first city in India to have an under water restaurant. The place is called “Real Poseidon.”
The restaurant starts on Feb 1, 2016. This will give diners an opportunity to relish their taste buds while sitting underwater. It is situated 20 feet below ground level. The aquarium has more than 150,000 litres of water, spread across 3000 sq ft. The aquarium has more than 4000 species of marine life sourced from the local markets in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Vadodara.
Real Poseidon is a 32 seat restaurant that offers Punjabi, Thai, Chinese, and Mexican cuisine but is strictly vegetarian. The man behind this idea is Ahmedabad-based businessman, Bharat Bhatt.
