On Monday, America’s most trusted online dictionary took it to the internet to show that it doesn’t mess around with sexism. After the creators of the popular sci-fi show, “Doctor Who,” announced Sunday that its 13th doctor would be a woman, many fans expressed their displeasure with the decision. Over Twitter, Merriam-Webster shut down the sexist trolls by saying that
” ‘Doctor’ has no gender in English.”
