OVERLY ATTACHED TO TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
If you spend more than 2 hours a day on any social media or all of them combined, that’s too much. Even if you’re the most famous person on the planet, spending 2 hours on social media each day is way too much and is on the verge of addiction.
Our growing dependence on smartphones and tablets disconnects us from what truly matters in life, face to face interaction and meaningful experiences.
Consciously make an effort to live your life rather than to merely report about in on social media.
KNOW WHEN DRAMA IS OVER AND WALK OUT
Never linger in a situation or relationship when drama seems to be the norm. Conflict becomes greater the more you invest in it.
Try to solve a strife or confrontation but don’t put yourself in a state where you constantly are the one who tries to solves everyone’s issue and ask for forgiveness. Be the bigger person, and just walk out of drama before it becomes your reality too.
Williams James says,
“Whenever you’re in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.”
The attitude he’s probably talking about is one of a self-aware person who knows when a conflict gets beyond repair and is wise enough to forgive and let go.
LIVING THE LIFE OTHERS PRESCRIBED FOR YOU
What’s seems to be wrong with these people is not the lack of gratitude for their blessings but the fact that they’re living a live others have urged them too.
People around us, especially our family and friends influence our goals, expectations and passions in life. Be careful not to go down a life path others considered to be right. Live the life you’ve dreamt to life, the life you deserve!
