AIB is On Point With Their Depiction of How Sexist Bollywood Songs Were and Still Are

We listen to Bollywood songs all the time. The songs have inspired many people in believing that what is shown in these songs is exactly how love happens. The reality is quite opposite, the way the songs have been depicted is not how love happens but that is how harassment happens.

Bollywood songs are full of stalking and following the girl even after she says no. Phrases like na mein bhi ha hona and peecha karte raho kabhi to ha kahegi have imbibed in the society that stalking is fine and girls like being stalked. Bollywood has made people normalize things that are actually an offense according to law.

Watch the parody of a few songs AIB did that were big hits. The video features Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal and Mallika Dua.
