Two of the country’s biggest cities- Delhi and Mumbai, are different from each other in many ways. We draw comparison between the two below. How much do you agree with us?

1. Delhi- Bragger.Mumbai- Modest

Delhiites live in the the epicentre of all political power, so using influential names to get away with things or for getting their work done comes naturally to them. “Janta hai mera Baap kaun hai” is almost synonymous with Delhiites who brag their political connections as if they dine with the Prime Minister everyday. Mumbaikars comparatively are more subdued in this matter.

2.Delhi- Loud. Mumbai- Aloof

Delhiites give themselves away by their loud behaviour, swear words and brashness and the rural hinterlands of Punjab, Haryana, UP and Rajasthan reflect in their genes. Whereas Mumbaikars are more sly, aloof and to some extent, cold and unresponsive to strangers and casual acquaintances.

3. Delhi- Gol Gappe, Papri Chaat. Mumbai- Pani Puri, Vada Pao

In both the cities, food is like a religion, necessity, joy and an addiction, enjoyed as one of the most important aspects of everyday life. Street food in Delhi is Papri Chaat, Golgappas and Aloo Tikkis. Whereas in Mumbai, street food is more of Pani Puri, Vada Pao and Bhel Puri.
