Personal hygiene is very important. During periods we girls are 24 hours on pads and tampons which can be daunting and irritating at the same time! Here are the quick tips which will keep you hygienic every month during those days.
1. Change sanitary napkins frequently.
Make it a point to change pads every 4 hours. If you will skip this step fungus will take over and bacteria will ruin hygiene which can be very dangerous for health. changing pads will ensure that bacteria does not enter into the body and create infections.
2. Post-periods.
Always and always wash the area with a mild antibacterial soap or solution this step will ensure that you are all safe after those days of constant friction that was caused by daily pad usage!
3. Eat more yogurt.
Yogurt is a probiotic which will ensure the entrance of good bacteria in your body and will keep harmful bacteria and infections at bay!
4. drink fluids.
Stay away from caffeine and hot beverages but make it a point to increase your fluid intake it will keep the flow at ease and will help in reduces the stomach cramps as well.
5. Eat more green veggies.
Due to constant blood flow, women need to increase the intake of iron rich food which will keep anemia at bay and will ensure that you have a happy and healthy period!
