How would you like to use a hair color that changes like the autumn leaves?
Pranava is releasing a line of hair color Vivids Mood Color which will change color according to heat. It is the first ever heat-reactive hair color. However, it does not work like photosynthesis but reacts to temperature.
“What makes it unique is that it’s the first-ever heat reactive color on the market,”, said Lissette Cruz, product development manager at Pravana.
“Walking out into the sun, with the simple heat from the sun, makes the color shift. Any gust of wind can change it again and reverse right back to its original color.”
Depending on what color is used, a drop or rise in temperature can turn pink into purple, yellow to green and blue to platinum, etc.
“There’s no risk in using it. It does not damage your hair. You don’t have to pre-lighten your hair. You can put on various levels, but the brighter the hair, the lighter the color will look. It does lay on top of the hair. It’s temporary. You can change your color day in, and day out. It’s not dye.”
Officially the color is coming out today but the barber student Jared Viliamu Pati got a chance to use it beforehand!
