3. Silhouette (sɪluˈet)
Silhouette, in terms of fashion, mean the outline, shape or fall of the garment. A silhouette could be of a bell shape, A-line, V- line and so on.

5. Avant garde (a-vahn-gard)
Fahion that is experimental and innovative, often considered ahead of its time is termed as avant-garde. French words avant and guard can be translated into English as ‘advance guard’ or ‘vanguard’.
6. Panache (puh-nash, -nahsh)
Panache is a word which is used to describe clothing that is distinctive and exuberates stylish elegance.
7. Appliqué (ap-li-key)
In French, Appliqué means ‘to put on’. It refers to the technique of decorative work, wherein a piece of cut cloth is sewn or embroidered onto another.
