Pehredaar Piya Ki is facing hate for portraying a love story between a 10-year-old boy and an 18 years old girl. Though there is a 8 year age gap between the duo, it is very normal in real life. According to the audience, it doesn’t really look good to show such a concept on Indian Television. The show is facing a lot of flak. The little boy falls in love with this woman and even starts stalking her and taking her pictures. Karan Wahi who is a popular TV actor has slammed the show for being stupid, publicly on Facebook. After all these speculations, Suyyash Rai has come to the show’s defense requesting the audience to be patient and let the story unfold before jumping on to the conclusions. Suyyash also said,
“If the channel has consented to let the show go on air, that means there’s something right about it.”
