Basically, it deals with the economics in such a way no one has ever thought of, while experts always run around conventional wisdom it gets to the real life and proves the experts as well as the conventional wisdom wrong and give the explanations about how INCENTIVES drive this world.
It provides us with some really interesting questions which are surprising as well in their own way such as, what do school teachers have in common with sumo wrestlers or how abortion resulted in crime drop(really jaw-dropping), and this all summed up in 6 chapters.
By the end of the book, one can add another perspective to his/her life as how would an economist think about this situation and that is really amazing. While so much contained in it yet it is easy to understand and all the way interesting.
So as far as I am concerned I’ll give a big thumbs up to FREAKONOMICS and is a must for the one searching for a new and interesting book to read and then can be followed up by SUPERFREAKONOMICS!!
